James Eccott, B.Comm.
Position: Chairman & Director

Mr. Eccott had been a member of the Board of Directors of Dia Met Minerals Ltd. since 1986 and in 1992 he was appointed its President and Chief Executive Officer, until his retirement in December 2000. During his executive role at Dia Met Minerals Ltd., Mr. Eccott was involved in the discovery of Canada's first diamond mine, Ekati, in the Northwest Territories.

Mr. Eccott has also served as a director of several other major Canadian corporations, including Canadian Airlines International Ltd. and Del Roca Energy Ltd. He is presently the Chairman and Director of Northern Air Support Ltd., a Director of Sun-Rype Products Ltd. and of Prism Resources Inc. He is a member of the Board of Governors of the University of British Columbia.

 
Randy Turner, B.Sc., P.Geo.
Position: President, CEO and Director

Mr. Turner has been President of Diamondex Resources Ltd. since 1999, when the Company first traded as a "spin-off" from Winspear Diamonds Inc. As former President of Winspear for nine and a half years, Mr. Turner guided the Company from the discovery of the Snap Lake diamond deposit through to the sale of it to De Beers Mining of Canada for C$305 million.

Prior to his position at Winspear, as President of Trimin Resources Ltd., Mr. Turner was involved in the development and sale of the McIlvenna Bay copper/zinc deposit, Saskatchewan. From 1977 - 1989, while working for Esso Minerals Canada in various roles, he was involved in acquisitions and joint ventures exploring for uranium, gold and base metals. Previously, Mr. Turner worked for AGIP Mining Corporation in Australia and in U.S.A. (Texas and Colorado) in the early 1970's exploring for uranium, gold and base metals.

On January 2008, as recognition for his contribution to the industry, Mr. Turner received the Hugo Dummett Diamond Award for Excellence in Diamond Exploration and Development from the B.C. and Yukon Chamber of Mines. Mr. Turner is a Professional Geologist and a Member of the Association of Professional Geoscientists and Engineers of British Columbia.

 
John McDonald, Ph.D., P.Geo.
Position: Director and Technical Consultant

Dr. McDonald was the V.P. Exploration for both Diamondex and Winspear Diamonds Inc., designing and developing their exploration focus. He and his technical team were directly responsible for the discovery and development of the Snap Lake diamond deposit, acquired by De Beers for $305 million in 2000. His field success is complemented by an academic career including 5 years mineral deposit research with CSIRO, Australia and a 13-year tenure as a university professor at the University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon and Australian National University, Canberra, Australia. He has also served as Interim Director for the Mineral Deposit Research Unit (MDRU) at the University of British Columbia during its formative stage. Prior to Dr. McDonald joining the Winspear team, he worked 10 years for Esso Minerals Canada as Chief Geologist and Exploration Manager, Western Canada.

In 2000, as recognition for his contribution to the industry, Dr. McDonald received the HH "Spud" Huestis award for excellence in prospecting and mineral exploration from the B.C. and Yukon Chamber of Mines. On January 30, 2008 he also received the Hugo Dummett Diamond Award for Excellence in Diamond Exploration and Development. Dr. McDonald is a Fellow of the Society of Economic Geologists and Geological Society of Australia, and a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists, British Columbia.

 
Hugh Morris, Ph.D., P.Eng., F.R.S.C.
Position: Director

Dr. Hugh Morris holds a Ph.D. in Mining Geology from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa, and has 53 years of experience in the mineral industry. He has distinguished himself as a leader in the mining industry. Dr. Morris was Director of Exploration for Cominco's worldwide activities, President of Geomex Minerals and Chairman and CEO of Imperial Metals.

Since his retirement in 1993, Dr. Morris has been a mineral industry consultant and director of several public companies. He is currently Chairman of Eldorado Gold Corporation, a director of the Pacific Institute for the Mathematical Sciences, Diamondex Resources, Pacific Northern Gas Ltd., and Triex Minerals Corporation. He is a member of the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, and the Geological Association of Canada.

Dr. Morris is also a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada.

 
Mike Muzylowski, B.Sc.
Position: Director

Mr. Muzylowski is a highly regarded geologist with a number of successful discoveries that highlight over 40 years of senior exploration and mining experience. Since 1995 he has held the position of President with Callinan Mines Ltd. He also served as President of Granges Inc., and as Chairman and CEO of Hycroft Resources Development Corp. During this period, he discovered the Trout Lake Mine near Flin Flon Manitoba, and explored and developed the Crowfoot mine in Nevada, U.S.A.

Mr. Muzylowski was the 1988 recipient of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada Developer of the Year Award, in recognition of being involved in discovering 15 ore bodies. Since 1985 Mr. Muzylowski has been a director and officer of many public companies, including Winspear Diamonds Inc. where he was involved with the sale of the Company and its Snap Lake Diamond Project to DeBeers.

 
John Greig, B.Sc. Hons., M.Sc., P.Geo., F.G.A.C.
Position: Director

Mr. Greig has had an extensive career in the management and financing of public companies since 1969, both in Canada and internationally. He has been involved in the discovery, acquisition and development of several significant mineral deposits as a director, officer and/or founder of many successful resource companies, including Cumberland Resources, Sutton Resources, Winspear Diamonds, Eurozinc Mining Corp., and Redfern Resources among others. Mr. Greig was on the board of directors of Winspear Resources Ltd. prior to the acquisition of the company and its Snap Lake Diamond Project to DeBeers. Mr. Greig is currently on the board of directors of Diamondex Resources Ltd. and Blackstone Ventures Inc. and has a strong track record of recognizing undervalued geological assets.

Mr. Greig holds a Bachelor of Science (honours) in Geology from McGill University in Montreal and a Master of Science in Geology from the University of Alberta in Edmonton and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of BC.

 
James D. Excell
Position: Director

Mr. Excell brings to the Board more than 30 years of operating and major project management experience in the mining industry. He has managed and developed some of the world's premier mining projects in Canada, the United States and Australia, including most recently the Ekati Diamond Mine in the Northwest Territories. Mr. Excell led the construction, commissioning and subsequent operation of the $700 million development of the Ekati Mine, Canada's first diamond mine.

Mr. Excell has served as the Chairman of BHP Billiton Diamonds Inc. and from 1999 to 2003 was the President and Chief Operating Officer of Ekati Diamond Mine and BHP Billiton Diamonds Inc. Prior to these roles, Mr. Excell served as Vice President, Operations for BHP Diamonds Inc. in Yellowknife, NWT and Mine Manager of Island Copper in British Columbia, as well as the Blackwater Mine in Australia and the San Juan Coal Mine in New Mexico. Mr. Excell not only brings outstanding industry experience to Diamondex, but also leadership and communication skills, which have earned him extensive mining contacts around the world and well established relationships with governments and aboriginal groups.

Mr. Excell has been recognized for his contributions to the mining industry with awards including: Businessman of the Year from the NWT Chamber of Commerce, Resource Person of the Year by the Alberta Chamber of Resources, and he also received on behalf of BHP Billiton Diamonds Inc., the Viola R. MacMillan Developers Award, which is intended to recognize outstanding leadership in management and financing for exploration and development of mineral resources.

 
Alexander J. Davidson, B.Sc., M.Sc.
Position: Director

Alex Davidson is the Executive Vice President of Exploration and Corporate Development at Barrick Gold. He has responsibility for Barrick Gold's International Exploration programs and Corporate Development activities. Prior to joining Barrick, Mr. Davidson was Vice President, Exploration for Metall Mining Corporation. Mr. Davidson has over 25 years experience in designing, implementing and managing gold and base metal exploration and acquisition programs throughout the world.

In April 2005, Mr. Davidson was presented with the 2005 A.O. Dufresne Award by the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum to recognize exceptional achievement and distinguished contributions to mining exploration in Canada. In 2003, Mr. Davidson was named the Prospector of the Year by the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada in recognition for his team's discovery of the Lagunas Norte Project in the Alto Chicama District, Peru.

Mr. Davidson received his B.Sc. and his M.Sc. in Economic Geology from McGill University.
